Soulmates

Based on a 'true story'. The story of Ryan Fletcher and Sean Owens - two high school classmates who throughout the plot of the film realise their non-platonic friendship may be more than it seems as they realise how much they truly are devoted to one other and whether it is more than just friendship.

From initially feeling "out of each leagues" to being school classmates to becoming devoted to one-another through university. A heart-warming story regarding finding your soulmate without letting orientation definition or labels impact the result.

Currently a working title also being considered "Bromance / bRomance".

Heading Higher

Eight teenagers begin their first year of University sharing a dorm flat together unaware of each other. Emotions run high as these students have to deal with each other’s personal & social conflicts ranging from house parties to violence; from relationships to sex & their aftermaths.

Series currently being written as three series of eight episodes - with each year representing each year of their University experience. Each episode spans thirty episodes. Being considered is that each episode tells the point of view and story progression of one main character per episode.

David & Jonathan

Modern, alternate re-telling of the Biblical story of King David and Jonathan from Samuel I & II from the perspective they're lovers as can be interpreted through the readings.

Key phrases that would support the claim include the passages Jonathan was bound to the soul of David and Jonathan loved him like his own soul.[1 Samuel 18:1]. Near the end of the book, the Bible mentions that “they kissed each other” and Jonathan said to David: “The Lord shall be between me and you, and between my descendants and your descendants forever.[1 Samuel 20:41-42].

Antagonist within the book would be King Saul who is the the father of Jonathan. After being de-throned by David for defeating Goliath showcases hatred and disgust for the two. Overall,. I believe it would be a very interesting film concept with a positive message as God is noted saying that David is a true hero for all.
